Researching and creating content for Ethnicity Facts and Figures on gov.uk

image.jpeg

Ethnicity Facts and Figures (originally touted as the Race Disparity Audit) was Theresa May's long-promised pet project. As part of a multidisciplinary team at the Cabinet Office, I designed content for the high-profile service, which looks at the experiences and outcomes of people of different ethnic backgrounds.

  • Working with analysts, designers and government departments to present raw data in plain English.

  • Reconciling content with user research and analyst feedback.

  • Aligning with the Government Digital Service (GDS) design principles and style guide.

  • Working from beta to live, passing the service assessment.
